Tang Chinese

The Tang Dynasty was one of the High points of Chinese civilisation.

At its zenith in the 7th and early 8th century AD, they controlled the countries of East Asia from Korea to Afghanistan, from Mongolia to Vietnam. Culture and scholarship flourished.

Its armies consisted mostly of well-equipped cavalry, both armoured heavy cavalry and light mounted skirmishers.

15 mm Figures from Outpost Wargames service, which produce the only historically accurate Tang Chinese I know of. A few figures from other manufacturers added for variety - notably the two generals. I made the standards from wire, paper and putty.

Yi Dynasty Koreans

15 mm scale figures by Essex. These are really Sung Chinese figures. But at present, there are no proper Korean figures, and these unarmoured Sung Chinese are very close. They just need the proper paint job.

Khmer
	The medieval Khmer empire ruled what is now Kambodscha. They had a colourful army that included such exotic items as chariots, a maiden guard and catapults carried by elephants.

The crocodiles in the river are cheap children's toys. In 'Hordes of the Things' they serve as water lurkers, in DBM I use them to mark a river as 'Dangerous'
